The career dual enrollment program is an excellent opportunity for your student to take rigorous post-secondary coursework at the technical college while simultaneously enrolled in high school. Career Dual Enrollment is a specific form of dual enrollment which allows students to earn credits toward their high school diploma, post-secondary credits, and lead toward an industry certification. Career Dual Enrollment courses are weighed the same as advanced placement and IB courses when grade point averages are calculated.
Ridge Technical College (RTC) offers Career Dual Enrollment college courses to students enrolled at Haines City High School and Ridge Community High School. They also accept applications from private school students and students enrolled in home education programs.
