This program emphasizes a hands-on approach to learning. This program focuses on broad, transferable skills, stresses the understanding of all aspects of the masonry industry, lay brick and block, read drawings and specifications, building layout and estimating. Students will demonstrate such elements of the industry as planning, management, finance, technical and production skills, underlying principles of technology, labor issues, community issues, and health, safety, and environmental issues.
