Adult High School classes offer courses for adults who have some high school credits, test above the ninth grade level on the TABE test, and wish to pursue the standard credit high school diploma. Eligible students may continue their pursuit of a traditional high school credit diploma, issued by the School Board of Polk County.

West Area Adult School offers a free preschool program on their main campus. The Pre-School and Family Literacy Program is eligible to the children (ages 3-5) of adult students enrolled full-time.
